Rates

Barnwood Reading Room is available for hire on an hourly basis. 

Hire Charges – £13.00 per hour plus deposit*.

Ad-Hoc bookings – In addition to the Hire Charge Ad-Hoc or one-off Bookings will be charged an Admin Fee of £15.00. Regular Groups are exempt.

* A minimum deposit of £50.00 is required on the day of your booking, which can be made with a Card Transaction – this will be refunded with the return of the property in a clean and satisfactory condition. Please note that refunds of deposits made by card may take up to 10 working days to be processed.

The deposit may be retained if the terms and conditions of hire have been breached. Examples include the retention of some or all of the deposit when:

• the building or its contents have been damaged
• the hirer has not removed their own rubbish for disposal offsite
• items such as pictures, posters, banners or decorations have been stuck to the walls causing damage to the paintwork. Sticking items to the walls is prohibited under the standard terms and conditions of hire.
